I’ve loved this quote ever since I heard it decades ago, & have probably written it out multiple times.
I have a long way to go with composition. Everything – paper, ink, pen, posture, mindset, words – needs to come together to get better, and I have only taken the first step.
Today, 12 11 21, is a palindrome day (at least in the parts of the world where we write dates in this format), and also a reminder of the word for the fear of palindromes.
aka challenging to find time in the evenings!
Over 400km driving clocked today – and had to do at least a little bit of a practice to keep the streak going 🙂 Got this posted minutes before midnight.
There’s a lot of things going on while I wrote this: – a faulty/cracking pen, rather poor quality paper, a migraine, Claire de Lune & the pitter-patter of rain in the background. The words still hold true:
You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.
I’ll add: write like there’s nobody reading 🙂
The best I can do tonight.
